With recent tech giants releasing poor employment numbers for African American, Hispanic, and female employees, a “diversity market” has taken shape.  The market saw a rise in startups in 2014 with companies focusing on blind matchmaking, listing of minority candidates, and stamping out unconscious bias in hiring.  Only time will tell if this market has a lasting effect, but “with a variety of startups fulfilling different components of an overall diversity program, together they just might make a difference.”
