Marvel and DC comics are currently making millions with new hit movies, TV shows, action figures, etc. The success of Marvel and DC has reached across the border into Ireland with Irish artists and writers seeing their work published in the big two comic universe. On Saturday, July 9th, the comic store Forbidden Planet Dublin will be hosting its very first small press day event. Among the exhibitors showcasing their work is Ireland’s very own, Rob Curley, pioneer of small press in Ireland. Many of the Ireland’s top artists and writers received their first start from Curley.
