Wells Fargo is taking a proactive approach to meet its “goal of doing $100 billion in small-business lending in the next five years.  All small-business customers that get declined by Wells Fargo for financing receive letters encouraging them to call and speak with a Wells Fargo coach, and the bank calls those who aren’t proactive about getting help. The bank hopes to track what comes out of the program, and use those metrics to better understand what its small business customers need.”
