As a new generation enters the job market, we are learning that a boost in female tech applicants may be on the horizon.  Colleges such as UC Berkley, Harvey Mudd College, and Georgia Tech are seeing a bolstering increase in female technology and engineering students.  Camps and coding academy’s are also doing their fair share helping girls learn and get excited about the possibilities of technology.  Currently “97 percent of new female students opt for subjects outside of science and computing”, but with a new generation of girls starting to come into the job market, that number may change soon.
