WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon has stated that the company is working with GLAAD to properly introduce an LGBT character. "We will integrate LGBT characters into our programming,“ she said. "And I do think there will be an opportunity to integrate some of those storylines in the near future.”
