Bunker Labs has one main focus; to help veterans transition from military service into entrepreneurship.  Excellent timing as, according to the non profit, about 25% of the “200,000 service members coming off duty each year over the next five years” will look to start a business.  The organization is currently in 12 cities, offering a “free, 14-week program for entrepreneurs, to teach them how to be innovative and to collaborate with other small business owners.”  Participants receive training and education in running a business along with mentorship and local networking events.

Military veterans are similar to other entrepreneur in that, in order to start a business, they need help.  Organizations like Bunker Labs are perfect for aspiring military entrepreneurs to get started in the life of small business.  As Bunker Labs continues to grow, I look forward to watching them expand their reach to connect with more service men and women.
