On Sunday, President Obama gave a powerful speech during the annual ceremony to remember the 9/11 attacks. He asked that our nation embrace our greatest strength which he believes is diversity. “And that’s why it so important today that we reaffirm our character as a nation (…) Our diversity, our patchwork heritage, is not a weakness. It is still and always will be one of our greatest strengths.”
Diversity, Diversity, Diversity! It is truly what sets America apart from many countries. There are thousands of different and beautiful faces and cultures who live, work and dream in this country. Even though, we have our setbacks, we are a country of a thousand faces. For 9/11 and onward, let us honor the fallen, and celebrate our strength. We’ll Never forget!
