In today’s society, cyber security is extremely important.  An unsecured internet access or laptop can lead to trouble within seconds of a mouse click.   In looking to increase the education in cyber security for small business and to level the playing field between big and small corporations, the Improving Small Business Cyber Security Act has been created.

“The Improving Small Business Cyber Security Act, sponsored by Rep. Richard Hanna (R-N.Y.), would increase the cybersecurity offerings of small-business development centers (SMBCs), including training and access to experts.”  The SBA would be in charge of facilitating these offerings by connecting with small businesses from around the country.  Hopefully this is the first step in aiding businesses in better protecting their digital access while doing business around the globe.
