TechSandbox is looking to increase veteran entrepreneurship in the Massachusetts area.  The nonprofit, which operates as an incubator for tech based startups, recently received a $50,000 grant “to launch the pilot phase of its Military Veteran Entrepreneurs Technology program, to be known simply as VET.”

The program will function as a meetup for veteran entrepreneurs and provide research on how to help veterans start and operate businesses.  The VET pilot program will run for an estimated 18 months, with the ultimate goal of growing “into a 10-week program where veterans can work together to create business plans.”

The first meeting will take place Nov. 12th “from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at TechSandbox, Inc., 105B South St. For more information and to register go to or call 508-308-1113.”
