It’s that time of the year again where minority owned businesses gather to celebrate and network with large corporations in an effort to advance supplier diversity spend.

This year the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) has partnered with the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) to provide workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities to over 6,000 minority owned businesses and large corporations.  MED Week will run in conjunction with the NMSDC Opportunity Exchange from October 23rd – 26th in Chicago, IL.  The MBDA’s MED Week will focus on “the latest information and trends about federal procurement, international trade and technology innovation.”  The NMSDC Opportunity Exchange will focus on connecting “procurement executives, entrepreneurs, influencers, business leaders, and supplier diversity professionals from the top multinational companies, international organizations and minority firms.”
