Black Enterprise (BE) and the Executive Leadership Council (ELC) have released their list of the “50 Best Companies for Diversity”.  Although the publication focuses on African Americans, for this list, BE looked at companies with missions benefiting ethnic minorities,  women, the disabled, veterans, and the LGBT community.  According to their press release, “The companies singled out for distinction demonstrated a significant commitment to diversity in four key areas: board of directors, employee base, senior management and supplier diversity.”

Stating with a list of 1,000 publicly traded companies, the final list included corporations from 21 states and DC (Arkansas, California, Connecticut, DC, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin).  To see the full list of companies, click on the link below.
