The nonpartisan nonprofit Ad Council is looking to bring Americans together with their most recent ad campaign.  The campaign, “created in partnership with New York ad agency R/GA” features pictures of “a gay military couple embraces in a train station, a transgender cheerleader poses in red, white and blue gear and a Sikh man prays in a gurdwara while wearing a star-spangled turban.”  The advertisement is meant to help bring Americans together after a divisive election.

The new campaign will take on a similar tone as the Forth of July advertisement featuring John Cena.  In it, the pro-wrestler “appealed to Americans to remember just how much of their populace is constituted by various minorities”, garnering over 45 million views across platforms.

The new photo campaign will begin appearing across the nation on public billboards, bus and subway ads, and other outdoor venues.
