According to SCORE (Read more HERE), ninety “percent of Americans shop at small businesses at least once per week, and 42 percent frequent small businesses three times or more weekly.”  Responding to a recent report by Quickbooks declaring the next decade the Golden Age of Small Business, SCORE revealed a few stats that may prove Quickbooks prediction correct.  In terms of small businesses Americans visit, food/beverage stores (75%), restaurants (50%), and clothing stores (34%) are high on the list.  There are a myriad of reasons consumers shop small but some are the biggest include convenience (66%), unique product offerings (54%), and customer service (53%).

As Quickbooks predicts “an acceleration in the growth of U.S. small businesses during the next decade, from 30 million in 2016 to more than 42 million in 2026”, Rieva Lesonsky, CEO of GrowBiz Media, highlights five key factors that will help small businesses grow over the next decade
