Amazon Go plans to take over the food and convenience store market, starting in Seattle, WA.

Amazon plans to open a 1,800 square-foot retail in 2017 which will include ready-made meals and grocery basics such bread, milk and cheese. The best thing about this new store is there will be NO LINES! Let me say that again NO LINES.

So how does this work? Well, let go over the basics.

The Amazon Go app will allow customers to enter the store, get what they need and simply go home. All purchases will be done on the app. Amazon will utilize the same technology that is used in self-driving cars. According to a recent press release, “Our Just Walk Out technology automatically detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track of them in a virtual cart. When you’re done shopping, you can just leave the store. Shortly after, we’ll charge your Amazon account and send you a receipt.” Amazon Go will be located at 2131 7th Ave, Seattle, WA.
