Kroger hires 4,000 military veterans and their family members in one day

Commitment is an actionable word.  To be committed to an ideal or process, a person or company must consistently promote, support, and ultimately accomplish a goal.  Kroger has proved they are committed to improving the lives of military veterans in 24 hours.

According to bizjournals, “The Cincinnati-based grocery giant, one of the largest employers in the Dayton region with more than 4,300 local employees, (NYSE: KR) hired more than 4,000 military veterans and their family members during its Honoring our Heroes hiring event on Nov. 9.”

In addition to its one day hiring spree, the company has done a lot more for military veterans.  Since 2009, “Kroger has hired more than 35,000 veterans….and donated more than $18 million since 2010 to help support USO programs.”

Kroger is committed to supporting military veterans, and we should all thank them.
