The Board of Weld County Commissioners in partnership with the Colorado Enterprise Fund have both agreed to contribute $200,000 in small business funding.  The capital donated will be used for various small business needs including “ startup expenses, operations, equipment and inventory purchases, property improvements, or the purchase of a business or franchise.” The program will focus on businesses who do not qualify for small business financing and need additional help.

The new loan is another great example of Colorado’s small business support system. According to a recent 2016 CNBC ranking, Colorado ranks 3rd in States that are Best for Business.
