Tech corporations IBM and Intel, along with the pharmaceutical company Pfizer have committed to increase their spend with women owned companies by $100 million each. These new pledges will combine to total $300 million over the next 3 years. The new commitment was recently announced at the 2017 Global Citizen Festival in Hamburg, Germany. This new initiative comes a few years after Intel “made a commitment to increase spending with diverse suppliers to $1 billion annually by 2020”
