Whats New?

Small Business and Artificial Intelligence

When it comes to technology and running a business, it can be tricky to determine when an “upgrade” is needed.  For example, if you’re using a laptop over 3 years old, the speed of your internet may have dropped but has it decreased enough to spend a couple hundred dollars to upgrade to a new one?  Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a bit similar in that small business owners constantly debate the need for more data interpretation if they believe the quality of their data is good.

The truth about AI is that it is the future.  Large corporations like Spotify, Amazon, and Salesforce are already using it to better understand their consumers and to offer more targeted services to them.  Targeted marketing has grown in the past few years, and you will only see it continue.

According to Small Business Trends, the benefits of AI include a few things such as: the ability to

  • Automate the send-time for your marketing emails to arrive when they will most likely be read.
  • Figure out which segments of your audience to target with the greatest expectation of return on investment.
  • Predict the amount of sales in your pipeline — even before the results come in.
  • Predict your most important sales leads.

AI is here and it is growing!  The next steps for everyone is to incorporate it into your small business.  There is still time to decide if your organization needs it, but understand that more and more companies are adding it to their platforms daily.  It’s ok to not be first, but make sure you’re not the last to start using AI.
