The Michigan Black Chamber of Commerce (MBCC) has merged with the National Business League (NBL) to expand its business reach.  According to Crains Detroit, the move will increase the MBCC’s reach combining the NBL’s 365 chapters and 15,000 members ” with regional offices in Detroit, Atlanta, Georgia, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles”.

The new partnership will “enhance the National Business League’s access to 2.5 million black businesses in the country.”  The NBL who’s businesses employee over 1 million people will now move its headquarters to Detroit, MI.  While no exact future organizational moves have been given, the merger should allow for more opportunities for businesses within the Detroit area especially.

Exciting news for both organizations and we wish them luck as they expand their organizational offerings.
