Hurricane Harvey Relief fund for small businesses

Houston native Rushion McDonald is looking to help small businesses negatively affected by Hurricane Harvey.  The Texas Black Expo and Emmy Award-winning producer / entrepreneur have connected to raise $100,000 for small businesses victimized by the recent hurricane.  According to Click 2 Houston “Eligible applicants will receive a one-time grant of $1,000 within 48 business hours of application approval. The grants can be used to replace office supplies, office furniture, office equipment, office cleanup and minor remodeling projects.”

This is a good starting point for most businesses and hopefully can do something to help alleviate the pain caused by Hurricane Harvey.  While not a complete solution, it is a good support base in my opinion.  For those small businesses looking to find out more, check out the application HERE

Anyone wishing to donate to the relief fund can visit texasblackexpo.com and click on the Hurricane Harvey banner.
