Good news for LGBT businesses in the New York area as a new online portal has been created in an effort to promote and advances LGBT business owner interests. The New York LGBT Network announced its creation last week and the new directory will allow “consumers to see which businesses are supportive of the LGBT community and allows businesses to post listings for open positions.”
Generally business portals like this focus primarily on the diverse supplier, so it is an interesting take to include big businesses as well in an effort to inform the community on who exactly supports them. When it comes to online directories its all about the people who are accessing the content so hopefully the New York LGBT Network can use this as a way to grow their network.
