IBM settled its lawsuit against Lindsay-Rae McIntyre former chief diversity officer, who left the company to take a similar job at Microsoft. According to GeekWire, “the settlement between IBM and Lindsay-Rae McIntyre was reached on Feb. 25, according to the filing in U.S. District Court in New York. Terms of the settlement weren’t disclosed, but Microsoft said in a statement this afternoon that McIntyre will be officially starting in her new position this summer.”

The issue within the lawsuit stemmed from an IBM process that the company claimed McIntyre would share with Microsoft to boost diversity hirings. Microsoft has already stated it has “no interest in any of IBM’s confidential information.”
