HP Inc recently unveiled its new HP LaserJet series which showcased a small laser printer perfect for small and micro businesses.  According to Yahoo, the new printer can fit in a small space, “print about 18 to 19 pages per minute and can be operated via the HP Smart App.”  The new printer will be easy-to-carry and mobile-ready which is much in demand these days.

“After its split from parent company Hewlett-Packard in November 2015,” HP has looked to increase market share within the printing industry, acquiring Samsung Electronics’ printer business in the process.  The acquisition ‘has expanded the company’s printing business, with the addition of 6,500-plus printing patents owned by Samsung.”

The new focus on micro and small businesses makes sense as the company continues to expand its 3-D printing business capabilities.  Currently, the company lags behind  Systems DDD and Stratasys, according to reports.
