The Air Force has awarded five small firms “positions on a potential five-year, $950 million contract for agile research-and-development services in cybersecurity.”  The contract is based on the “Agile Cyber Technology 2” opportunity which looks to improve government technologies.  For more information on the opportunity CLICK HERE

According to Washington Technology, ““Agile Cyber Technology 2” migrated to being a small business set-aside contract versus its full-an-open predecessor awarded in 2012 to six large businesses that included CACI International and Peraton, the former Harris Corp. IT business”  The small firms awarded the contract will now work in conjunction with the he Air Force Research Laboratory, “its product centers and operational users on rapid research, development, prototyping demonstration, evaluation and transition of cyber capabilities.”
