With nominations ending last month, many black owners are awaiting the news of the winners of the annual Black Enterprise Small Business Awards.  According to Black Enterprise, “every year at the Entrepreneurs Summit, we recognize top small black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and franchisees for the work that they’re doing in their communities and industries.”  This year will see four businesses immortalized in the categories of Techpreneur of the Year, Family-Owned Business of the Year, Franchise Owner of the Year, and Teenpreneur of the Year.

The award will include being inducted into the Small Business Awards Hall of Fame and having VIP Access throughout the event. Nominees must be at least 51% independently black owned, have at least 2 years of increasing revenue ranging from $250,000 to $20 million, and employee a minimum of three employees.

The winner will be announced during the Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Summit next month on Friday, June 8th, 2018 i Charlotte, North Carolina.
