Bunker Labs and WeWork are connecting with veteran entrepreneurs to offer free co-working office space in the city of Detroit.

Bunker Labs is a national nonprofit network “of veteran entrepreneurs dedicated to helping new veteran entrepreneurs start their own business.”  Their goal is to assist military veterans in obtaining the tools necessary to start and run a successful business.  WeWork is a global co-working space that hosts small businesses of all shapes and sizes.

In Detroit, Bunker Labs supports an initiative called “Bunker Labs’ Veterans of Residence program that provides them free office space and support services for six months” to veteran startups. WeWork assists in this by providing “Bunker Labs with free co-working space at its 1001 Woodward Ave. office.”

“The veteran-owned businesses incubating at Bunker Labs vary from food, beverage and personal care startups” and help veteran entrepreneurs connect with individuals “without military backgrounds who are working out of the shared downtown office space.”
