In efforts to help small businesses obtain capital, U.S. Bank has created a new digital small business lending option for customers. Small business owners will now be allowed to apply for and receive a loan or line of credit for up to $250,000 through the platform. In addition to the amount, one of the most beneficial aspects of the new service is the entire process can be completed within one day.  You can use your smartphone, laptop or tablet to complete the process and sign the closing documents from the same place as well.

Tim Welsh, U.S. Bank vice chairman of Consumer Banking Sales & Support, spoke about the recent news.  “We created this new digital experience to deliver on our commitment to continuously improve the way we serve our customers. This is the first of several exciting digital initiatives we’re pursuing that we believe will better serve the needs of small businesses and consumers.”

U.S. Bank took advantage of the feedback small business owners relayed to the bank’s 2018 Small Business Survey which indicated that 63 percent of business owners desire to use multiple channels to interact with their banks.
