The 20th edition of ProcureCon Indirect will be held again in Copenhagen, Denmark on April 2-3, 2019. The event will be attended by more than 200 heads of indirect procurement and chief procurement officers from the largest indirect spending companies in Europe. It will focus on corporate social responsibility in the forms of supplier diversity, ethical sourcing, sustainability, best practices, compliance and transparency.
The second day of the event will feature sessions on how to improve supplier transparency, how to defend against modern slavery and how to encourage inclusion and supplier diversity. There will be panel discussions on Next Generation Procurement Models and Driving Innovation in HR, Marketing and IT Categories. There will also be an Oxford style debate on the usefulness of the traditional category management in indirect procurement.
To finish the event, Cath Hill of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply will discuss the top three trends that can influence the procurement industry in the next 5-10 years. ProcureCon Indirect will also provide attendees with the chance to benchmark, connect and learn the implementation of agile procurement models and the application of blockchain, artificial intelligence and robotic process automation.
