Cincinnati, Ohio-based Macy’s Inc. has appointed Dennis Mullahy as its chief supply chain officer effective April 8, 2019. Mullahy will be responsible for overseeing Macy’s supplier diversity, supply chain systems, indirect procurement, transportation, e-commerce distribution, inventory management and global sourcing and sustainability.
Mullahy will be based in the company’s office in New York. He has more than 30 years of experience in the retail sector and served as Ulta’s senior vice president where he was responsible for supply chain strategy, transportation, distribution, logistics, inventory management and merchandise planning. He was most recently Michael’s Stores Inc.’s executive vice president of supply chain and IT where he was in charge of overseeing the company’s global supply chain.
