Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy Brian Blase explains what the Trump administration has done for small businesses in the U.S. These accomplishments include the increase in workers’ wages, economic growth of more than 3%, unemployment rate below 4%, the availability of more job openings and the reduction of business tax.

Blase says the administration is addressing the high cost of health care for small businesses. This is through the Association Health Plans which help save small business owners up to 30% in health insurance premiums and the Health Reimbursement Arrangements which allow employers to offer coverage choices for their employees.

Blase adds that they are also loosening some rules to increase innovation and improve productivity in the healthcare industry.
