The Greater Women’s Business Council (GWBC) has appointed Deborah Mackins of Georgia Power as new chair of the board of directors for 2019.

Mackins has more than two decades of experience in supply chain management and supplier diversity and has served on the GWBC board for three years. She represents Georgia Power in the GWBC, the Georgia Black Constructors Association and other organizations that support veteran-owned businesses.

The other board members include Dr. Lissa J. Miller of Sun Trust Bank as First Vice Chair, Stephanie Pulliam of AT&T as Secretary and Livia Whisenhunt of PS Energy Group as Treasurer. The directors-at-large include Sesley Brown of Accenture, Patrick Dierberger of Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Sheila Jordan of Knowledge Architects LLC.
