The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) will hold its 40th National Convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico from September 29, 2019 to October 1, 2019.

USHCC President and CEO Ramiro Cavazos said it is fitting to hold the 40th National Convention in Albuquerque since it was also in New Mexico that the USHCC was incorporated in 1979. USHCC Board of Director Chair Carmen Castillo added that Albuquerque is an ideal venue because they always choose a location that possesses a thriving Hispanic business community, welcomes diversity and exemplifies a pro-business environment.

Albuquerque has the largest Hispanic statewide population, more than 157,257 small business and export revenue of $3.7 billion.

The highlights of the annual event include an awards gala to recognize the top Hispanic businesses, the Women in Business and Leadership Luncheon which honors women business owners and the Supplier Diversity Luncheon which recognizes the top Hispanic-owned businesses with the largest supplier diversity spent.
