The National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC) has compiled the result of its post-conference which confirms that its 2019 National Veterans Business Matchmaking Conference was successful and achieved its objectives of helping veteran business owners. The annual conference, held in Columbus, Ohio in November 2019, focused on connecting certified Service Disabled and Veteran Owned Businesses (SD/VOBs) with supplier diversity professionals.

The majority consensus of the post-conference survey is that the conference was “the best ever.” The success was attributed to the one-on-one matching sessions, the exhibit hall, the educational sessions and the Vets Night Out networking event.

The two-day event was attended by almost 200 SD/VOBs who were able to meet with representatives from 58 corporations including Novartis, JP Morgan Chase, Procter & Gamble, Facebook, Boston Scientific Corporation, Delta Airlines, Microsoft, Apple and Walmart.
