The U.S. State Department has expanded its partnership with software provider Unison. The Department will implement Unison’s solutions to reduce procurement action lead time (PALT), improve the collaboration between the Acquisition and Program Office and improve workforce development.

Unison has been providing innovative products and solutions to the State Department since 2001. In 2020, the company will help the department to train procurement staff in the use of Pathfinder and Leadership Hub from its Virtual Acquisition Office, improve collaboration between acquisition leaders and program leaders to reduce lead with the Unison Accelerator and mitigate program risks with the use of its Program Management product suite.

According to Unison’s president and CEO Reid Jackson, they are excited to help the State Department modernize its procurement systems and practices. He also said they understand and can help address the individual and collective challenges of each type of professionals involved in the procurement process.
