Investment management firm Richard Bernstein Advisors LLC (RBA) is offering a new scholarship at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, that aims to promote diversity at the firm and the investment industry as a whole.
The scholarship will provide tuition assistance and summer internships to junior and senior students. The recipients will be selected by the RBA and college faculty. According to RBA CEO and chief investment officer Richard Bernstein, this is the fifth scholarship for Black and minority students that his firm is sponsoring. He explained that he was frustrated at the lack of diversity at RBA and decided to contact Spelman College’s president Mary Schmidt Campbell to establish a pipeline for diverse talents.
