A group of veteran entrepreneurs and angel investors have formed Round One Capital, an Indianapolis-based seed fund for emerging tech startups. The fund will focus on companies that have received seed funding but are still not ready for private equity or venture funding. It plans to make 30 or more investments over the next few years.

The founders include Jay Love, the co-founder and CEO of Bloomerang and eTapestry; Gary Rush, the former chief technology officer of Angie’s List and Exact Target; Todd Katz, the former CEO of Bell-Horn; and Scott Brenton, the former president and chairman of Orr Fellowship.
