Dear President Biden/Vice President Harris:

The National Minority Business Council, Inc. calls on your administration to convene a White House Conference on small business. The last time the White House convened a conference on small business was 1995. Needless to say, there have been many changes in the small, minority, women-owned, and veteran small business community since 1995 – some good and some bad. A  Small Business White House Conference can be brought together by your office in a very short period of time coordinated through the United States Small Business Administration working alongside the United States Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency. People who should be invited to the conference should include small business owners from all sectors, Small Business Organizational Leaders, and individuals from the academic community as well as foundation executives.

Mr. President, we hope your administration will implement our proposed White House Small Business Conference before 2021 is over or no later than the first half of 2022.

I hope to hear back from your office on the above recommendation.

John F. Robinson
President & CEO
