Wisconsin Gov. Tony Every announced $57 million in funding for the state’s Diverse Business Assistance Grant Program. For the second round, more than $15 million was added to support diverse small businesses, including rural, veteran-owned and LGBT-owned businesses.

Fourteen organizations will receive up to $3.1 million to help provide investment, technical and operation assistance. The recipients include the Latino Chamber of Commerce of Dane Co., Madison Black Chamber of Commerce, Center for the Community Stewardship and Collaboration for Good.

Department of Administration Secretary-designee Kathy Blumenfeld said the state’s investments would help ensure that tomorrow’s entrepreneurs would be able to create even more opportunities in their communities and build back stronger.
