CVS Health partnered with three historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) as part of its 2022 supplier diversity strategy. Its goal is to develop creative and innovative solutions focusing on supplier development and education, student inclusion, relationship building and a positive impact on the Black community. The new partners are Morehouse College, Florida A&M University and North Carolina A&T University.

In February, CVS Health collaborated with the Morehouse College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center on the Accelerating Growth Activator’s Program. It involves 12-minority-owned businesses that supply products and services to the healthcare sector. The company developed an Executive Leadership Program with Florida A&M, and they want to expand the coverage and impact of that executive learning series beyond its immediate scope.

With North Carolina A&T University, CVS Health committed to supporting its 2022 Community and Economic Engagement summit. The company said the event called Surviving and Thriving in a Post-Pandemic Economy will be more informative and engaging for participants. Its goal in its partnership with the university is to benefit the lives of local and community members year after year.
