The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) launched the inaugural class of its Mentor/Protégé program. The participants include leaders from six diverse firms from Philadelphia and surrounding areas. They will be paired with CHOP executives from different departments, including External Affairs, Operations and Legal, and Public Relations/Marketing.
Joni Rittler, the vice president of Supply Chain at CHOP, said the proteges will get valuable business development help from their mentors in strategic planning, business development, accounting and marketing. At the same time, CHOP executives will gain valuable new insights into the current business climate and the challenges faced by their proteges.
